Sound Mixin’ : What does our city sound like?

Modern Art partnered with Mix at Arbor Place to plan and lead a project for their students inspired by the Lancaster Sound Map, a public art project by artist Stuart Hyatt. After spending the day on the streets of Lancaster, observing, listening, recording, photographing and sketching what we saw, heard and experienced, each student artist used the observations, sounds and images they gathered to inspire a show of work at the Mix’s last day of school picnic and exhibited at the Lancaster Train Station.
